Toufan (also known as Toufan Al-Aqsa) is an Iran-linked hacktivist group that emerged during the Israel-Hamas conflict in late 2023, conducting wiper attacks and data theft operations against Israeli companies. The group claimed attacks against Israeli retail, logistics, and technology firms, releasing stolen data including customer databases. Toufan's activities are consistent with Iranian state-sponsored or state-tolerated cyber operations targeting Israel.
